The INSTITUTE is a course combining
- Coach Boat Safety
- CanSAIL ½ or community coach technical component
- Wetfeet sailing module.
There is also an evaluation at the end of the course to move students from a “trained” to “certified” status for their CanSail ½ coaching level.
The Course runs over two weekends and is a comprehensive course in on-water coaching.
This is the final course required to become a sailing instructor.
Students are required to have
- A valid PCOC license on-site
- Passed the Standard First aid/CPR
- Passed the fundamental course
- Cansail level 3/4(Cansail level 2 for community instructor)
- Fridays 6-9pm
- Saturday Sunday 9:00-5:00pm
Friday May 7th: CBS + Sailing
Saturday May 8th: CBS
Sunday May 9th: Wetfeet + Tech 1/2
Friday May 21th: Tech 1/2
Saturday May 22th: Tech 1/2 + Sailing
Sunday May 23rd: Tech 1/2
Monday May 24th: Evaluations

Racing Rules of Sailing 2021 with shipping(in Alberta only)
